The up and coming Barberini Piano Trio prefers to perform in intimate settings rather than vast concert halls. Romanian pianist Cristian Sandrin, Japanese born violinist Eriko Nagayama and Scots cellist Hugh Mackay met as students at the Royal Academy of Music and bonded over their love of the chamber music repertoire.

Programme: Mozart Trio No. 5 in C major K 548 (1788), Beethoven Trio in B-flat Major op 97 ‘Archduke’ (1811), Brahms Trio No. 3 op 101 in C minor (1886).
